Ideal Weather Conditions

Humidity is your friend! We are serious, it is your new best friend, your other best friend just got demoted.

Daylight helps to make the beautiful rainbow that is picture worthy. (Send them to us by email!)

If it is windy on the day you are making your wonderful, colorful, whimsical bubbles, try to make small bubbles that you or your siblings will have fun chasing around the yard. To do this, you will want to open up the wand a little less, so the triangle that you will make is on the smaller side.(maybe the size of a small dog…) Then let the wind carry itself through the tiny triangle, and voila, you have tiny bubbles!

If there is what we like to call “lazy wind”, or, wind that just blows through occasionally and slowly, make a somewhat large triangle. Then, stand still and let the wind, at its tortoise pace, drag the bubble into a very nice and long bubble. Try not to let anyone pop it during this point, just to be able to see how long your bubble can stretch!

If there is absolutely no wind… walk around with the bubble wand. SLOWLY!!! If you run, the bubble will pop before stretching farther than two feet. The bubble will stretch out wonderfully, and you can take all sorts of pictures! We like to do crazy poses. (Someone can lie on the ground while another person pulls the bubbles over them. Or, you can go on your knees, maybe lean back a little, make a strange expression, (never forget the crazy facial expression) then have another person run the bubble over you. It will look like you narrowly avoided being hit by a rainbow.
